Discover Your Gifts

This Father's Day sermon emphasizes the importance of discovering and utilizing the spiritual gifts that God has given to every believer through the Holy Spirit. Far too many Christians leave their spiritual gifts "unwrapped" - never discovering or using what God has specifically equipped them to do. Like leaving a birthday present "un-opened" in the 'spiritual' - living room of our lives - this message challenges all believers to move from duty to delight, from spectator to steward, and from confusion to clarity about their calling. Knowing your gift helps you understand your purpose, gives you freedom to say no to things outside your calling, brings joy and fulfillment to service, and builds unity among the church body to carry out the great mission and commission of Jesus Christ in our world.
