How Many Apples Are In a Seed?

It’s been said that you can count the number of “seeds” in an ‘Apple’ - but you can’t count the number of “Apples”- in a ‘seed’.

... and so it goes with your ministry – (the seed that God has planted in your life for others).

You will never know – the impact that your obedience to Jesus Christ will have on others - (especially those you will never know). Yet I believe that someday in Heaven - we will know and understand fully the impact that God has made through us - and there will be much rejoicing!!!  ~ “For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I also have been fully known.” ~ 1 Corinthians 13:12

 - I’m reminded of what Jesus said - ‘after’ the fanfare from the crowd had faded – ‘after’  “... riding into Jerusalem on a lowly donkey.” ~ (Zechariah 9:9)

He said -
“Truly, truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” ~ John 12:24

Pointing forward to what was to come – Jesus declared this -  “paradox of paradoxes” - “If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.” - Mark 8:35

Dying to ‘self’ – (our ... ‘self-interest’- ‘self-reliance’ and - ‘self-ISH-ness’) - we have therefore been made “alive” in Christ.

Putting others first is what Jesus did by dying on the Cross - so that ‘they’ may have life. Putting others first in our lives – makes that Good News – a reality to someone who’s never met Him.

Share ‘your’ story – plant a seed.

With that in mind - I want to invite you to join us in person this week for our Sunday service - no matter where you are in your spiritual life - God has a message for you - and it's All - Good News!

“It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” - (Isaiah 55:11 NLT)

God Bless!
