To Live for Christ - we have to first deal with the Idols that we've allowed to encroach into our lives. It's difficult to follow Him if we are toting around a whole bunch of extra baggage. We live in a world that constantly draws our attention away from God. Lots of distractions like - TV, Radio, and Social Media, We live in an - "On-Demand Society" ... just wait for AI and VR to develop further. These things have crowded our creator out of our lives. Idols aren't just physical either - we can make Idols of our thoughts and feelings - like anger, jealousy, pride, prejudice and all the rest.
