A Hope Christmas Message

We all - experience "'Sehnsucht" (Ger.) — ... an inconsolable longing for something beyond this world—because we were made for another world. Borrowing a theme (as metaphor) from the Christmas special "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and the Island of Misfit Toys - each of us in some way is a "misfit" and can feel imperfect and left behind in this fallen world. However, Jesus Christ came as the light into this darkness to rescue us from our exile on this "island of misfit toys". Through His birth, life, death, and resurrection, Jesus offers acceptance, redemption, and the promise of Hope - that one day He will return to bring us to our true home in Heaven.
