Pentecost Sunday

We tend to celebrate two dates in the Bible more than any other - (and for good reason) The Birth (Christmas Day) and the Death of Jesus Christ (Easter Sunday). Yet there is a third date on the church calendar that can often times be overlooked - and that is Pentecost Sunday. It marked the start of the Christian Church age. The Birth of the Christian Church. Fifty days after the Resurrection of Jesus Christ - the Holy Spirit (whom Jesus promised) came upon all believers and baptized them with Fire for Service.
