It’s pretty simple isn’t it? - obey God and let all your outcomes be subject to Him.
‘There is no one righteous no not one’ - (Romans 3:10).
We’re all striving to do good. BE good. ‘Shine’ our way up to heaven ... but the Lord says you have flubbed that one too.
Only Jesus hasn’t. He alone has lived a sinless. Perfect life. (‘Behold - The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world’ -(John 1:29).
The essence of the Gospel is grace. (unmerited and unearned favor) through Christ’s death & resurrection at the cross. He is the Ark that brings us safely to shore. There is no other Way ... by which mankind may be saved.
“For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift --“ (Ephesians 2:8)
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” - Jesus of Nazareth (John 14:6)
This is the message ... this is the truth. We are called to share the simple truth. Seems too simple to be true. It's just - not complex or sophisticated enough. Yet in its simplicity- is great truth. The greatest truth ever told!
